The Belgian midfielder, who City paid Wolfsburg £55m for this summer, so say The Mirror, tapped home from close range on nine minutes.

Raheem Sterling, whose July move from Liverpool could cost as much as £49m according to BBC Sport, sprinted down the left before squaring to De Bruyne, who was in the action again moments later to set up Fabian Delph for City’s second goal on 20 minutes.
De Bruyne has now ben directly involved in nine of City’s last 11 goals.
Man City will return to the top of the Premier League table if they beat the Saints, but they will be replaced later tonight if there is a winner in the match between Leicester City and Manchester United.
